SHOP ONLINE AND RAISE MONEY!

At the September 2010 Committee Meeting, reference was made to a website called easyfundraising.org.uk which is already used locally by Wetherby Bulldogs ARLFC, Wetherby High School PTA and the Wetherby Musical Theatre Group.
 
It's appears to be a serious and genuine opportunity for us to raise money for our tennis club as for example, during the last quarter, Collingham and Linton Cricket Club were able to raise £900 for their funds from it.
 
So How Does It Work?

Basically you register with the site as a supporter of Wetherby Castlegarth Tennis Club. Then, when you shop online with retailers (Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Comet, iTunes, eBay or HMV etc) you connect to them via the easyfundraising site links and the tennis club gets an amount back from the retailers on anything you buy. It doesn't cost you anything extra at all and you don't have to give any of your payment details to the easyfundraising site.
 
How Much Can You Raise?

Spend £100 with M&S online or Amazon and you raise £2.50 for us. £100 with WH Smith puts £4.00 in our pocket and so on. There's over 2,000 retailers on their site, and some of the donations can be as much as 15% of your purchase.

As well as being free to use, easyfundraising gets you access to hundreds of exclusive discounts and voucher codes, so not only will you be helping us, you’ll be saving money yourself.

The Committee therefore agreed that our Club should be set up on the easyfundraising site, any monies raised would be initially put towards improved spectator facilities and the Club would take no responsibility for any loss incurred by a member as a result of their use of the easyfundraising scheme.
