MARIE CURIE DAY EVENT - 29 August 2011

JUNIORS v SENIORS MATCH - Sunday 10 October 2010   
After "going easy" on the Juniors for the last couple of years (and losing!), the Seniors this year decided to "up their game" but still lost again to a "lucky" Junior team by 78 games to 72.

One should never underestimate the mainly uncoached, probably out of condition but wily old performers of the Senior team though and no doubt they'll muster up enough energy for a rightful victory next time. CLUB FINALS DAY - Sunday 12 September 2010    Sponsored by COPPENWRATH AND WIESE 
Certainly a "woonderful day" for the Woon family at the Club Tournament on Sunday 12 September as Sarah won the Ladies and David won the Mens Singles - plus Sophie nearly made it a family hatrick in the Mixed Doubles playing with Niall Wood but they just lost out to Mike Park and Rachel Hill.

Other winners were Judith Crossley & Debbie Vines in the Ladies Doubles and Walter Skubiak & Mark Vines in the Mens Doubles.
